Warning About a Fraudulent App Charging for Parking

Fraudsters have found a way to trick unsuspecting customers into paying for parking. The website Autosalon.tv warns about this. A pink QR code redirects drivers to a fake website resembling the EasyPark service — more information is available in this article.

The official EasyPark service does not cover parking zones in Pilsen. In our city, neither its website nor its mobile app is supported. In Pilsen, drivers can choose from the following options:

1. The DoKapsy app by ČSOB, a.s.; and
2. The Park Simply Plzeň app by GlobData, a.s.

It is especially important to remember, in the case of the second option, that when downloading the app, users must search for the full name Park Simply Plzeň in their mobile app stores. Other Park Simply apps do not belong to our city.
