Scooters, mopeds and motorcycles will no longer have to pay for parking in paid parking zones within the City of Plzeň as of April 1, 2026. The decision was approved by the City Council of Plzeň at its meeting. In this respect, the West Bohemian metropolis follows other Czech cities such as Prague, Brno and České Budějovice. The measure does not apply to parking in barrier-controlled Park & Go, Park & Ride facilities. The measure does not apply to four-wheeled vehicles that may be driven with a Category M driving licence.
